Redefining loud music one song at a time
BIO
A brief history of Fuck the Main$tream

FTM formed in early 2000, recorded a demo, ditched the drum machine,
got ourselves a live drummer, started playing shows, recorded another
demo, got offered a record deal, turned it down, then recorded another
demo, and another and well you get the drift. The band started turning
heads and started getting local coverage in Zines, Newspapers, and
Cable Access shows. Over time, members [mostly guitarists] came and
went, but the band continued on. In 2005 we recorded our 1st
self-released album "Sursum Corda" under our "label" Fuck the
Main$tream Records. More shows, bigger mosh pits, more record offers,
and more disappointment led to bigger internal problems and in 2007 we took time off to live our lives. In 2008, the band reformed with a slightly
different line up and began writing and recording once more. In 2009, the
band is almost done with their second self-released album "Time Waits
For No One", is once again playing shows, and amassing an even larger arsenal of original songs. 2009 sees the band
picking up where they left off and once again bringing their self
flavored brand of audio terrorism to venues across Texas and ears across the world...
